RULES: |
In the Beginner class $2.00 goes back to the child and $3.00 will go for year-end awards. Points will not be kept in the Beginner class, any child competing at 8 or more shows will receive awards.
A youth may pay their open and youth entry and carry their time to the open if they choose to do this they must tell the secretary when they enter, not after they run.
Open 4D will be a half second split. Youth 4D ½, 1/2, 1 split. Points will be awarded in each division as follows:
1st Placewill receive 50 points,
2nd Placewill receive 49 points, 3rd place will receive 48 points etc… (If there are more than 50 contestants in a division, they will receive 1 point each after 50th place). If two or more riders tie, the points for the tied positions should be added together and divided equally among the riders who tied.
NOTE: When there is added money @ a jackpot that counts for points the highest placing Cowgirls for Christ member will set the time for the 4D’s in the Open Class for the points. For example: If there are no Cowgirls for Christ members in the actual 1D results, the top placing member in the 2D will actually set the 1D member points where as the ½, ½, ½. Second splits will begin with that time. The payout will not change only the points for the Cowgirls for Christ members.
For year-end awards you may place in only one D per horse/rider (depending on how you nominated). Example: If you run only one horse but place in more than one D you may only get the awards from the D you placed the highest in.
A member must compete at (8) shows.
You can nominate RIDER or HORSE. This applies to Open 4D and Youth. Example:
Nominated Rider-cannot use the (8) shows that are accumulated on nominated horse.
Rider Nomination: points will be kept on rider not the horse so you may ride any horse you wish as long as it is not a nominated horse. Rider must compete at (8) shows.
Horse Nomination: If you nominate your horse the points will be kept on the horse. Anyone who is a member may run your horse for you. The horse must compete at 8 shows. But if the horse gets hurt you may NOT substitute another horse for the nominated horse.
