General Rules
For year-end awards you may place in only one D per horse/rider (depending on how you nominated). Example: If you run only one horse but place in more than one D you may only get the awards from the D you placed the highest in. All broken patterns and down barrels will receive a no time.
In the case of a re-run that is a timer malfunction or error of the announcer or any other factor that is not the fault of the rider, the re-run will be the deciding run for points and money, if a barrel is knocked down in the re-run there will be no penalty. A member may choose to pay his/her entry fee and not run for the sole purpose of becoming eligible for the finals and awards. This entry fee must be paid before the 1st runner. No points will be awarded and the money will be added to that day’s jackpot.
You can nominate RIDER or HORSE. This applies to Open 4D and Youth.
Rider nomination: points will be kept on rider not the horse so you may ride any horse you wish as long as it is not a nominated horse. If riding more than one horse and you are nominated as a rider, you must designate the horse when you enter to count the rider points on. If not designated, your first run will be your point run. Also nominated rider must compete at 8 shows, you cannot use the shows on a nominated horse, they are two separate entries for points.
Horse Nomination: If you nominate your horse the points will be kept on the horse. If a horse is nominated it is nominated for the open and youth. Any one who is a member may run your horse for you. When riding nominated horses, the names of the horses must be on the entry form or points will not count. Each horse can run only once per class. If it is in the Youth Class, it must be a member that is eligible age wise for the youth. The horse must compete at 8 shows. But if the horse gets hurt you may not substitute another horse for the nominated horse. There is a $5.00 nomination fee for each horse nominated.
REQUIRED NUMBER OF RUNS FOR AWARDS ELIGIBILTY: To be eligible for awards, you must compete at 8 shows. That means 8 shows for EACH class that you wish to be eligible for awards in. Example: If you are riding a nominated horse that horse must compete at 8 shows, and/or if you nominate yourself, you must compete at 8 shows.

You must sign up to work at the show . You may work for someone else at a show, but you MUST sign the worksheet. When you sign up to work for someone else, you must list who you are working for.

For example: If there are no Cowgirls for Christ members in the actual 1D results, the top placing member in the 2D will actually set the 1D member points where as the ½, ½, ½, second splits will begin with that time. If no money is added the fastest time will set the 4-D times in the Open and Youth and the points will begin with the first Cowgirls for Christ member. The payout will not change only the points for the Cowgirls for Christ members.
